The singleplayer campaign consists of 30 missions in a set of 5 Operations (A-E), crossing from the urban setting of New Mombasa and New Phoenix, to the tropic jungles and Forerunner buildings of Installation 003. The targeting systems have a slight auto-aim to help you hit your targets, and the grenade targeting system seems to be more refined from the previous game, allowing greater accuracy in regards to where you want the grenade to land. Like the previous installment, the controls for direction of movement and the direction of your aim are separate, this has been improved with the addition of visual circles around the character to represent these directions. The controls, despite your option of keyboard or controller, are well mapped and easy to use, so it is to the preference of the player what you use. This tool emulates a Xbox 360 controller, allowing you to play the game with it.
